The weather here is notorious for its extreme variations. Where we live we get an excellent view of these changes, as they sweep across the bay.
Even with more accurate weather forecasting and the Bureau of Meteorology’s radar loop to help us, we still get caught out. So dressed to cover all contingencies, we love to walk along the coastal paths, either north towards Brighton or south to Red Bluff.
Apart from the hum of traffic along the Beach Road, there are times when you might be forgiven for thinking that you’re miles from nowhere.
The ever fluctuating weather occasionally makes for spectacular light conditions, over the water and through the bush along the foreshore tracks.
